He is highly experienced in dealing with large losses and has built a solid reputation for being very accessible to all stakeholders; communicating clearly; meeting deadlines;and maintaining steady progress across even the most challenging stages of the claims handling process. Danie has played a prominent role in Crawford's response to the 2010/2011 Canterbury earthquakes, providing technical expertise and guidance to others, while at the same time continuing to service a personal portfolio of large and complex losses for leading insurers. He has successfully settled several large, high profile losses arising from these events.
David is a Chartered Loss Adjuster and a Crawford & Company New Zealand Board Member. He is an Associate member of the Australasian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters (ACLA), a Senior Associate of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance, ANZIIF (Snr Assoc), a Certified Insurance Professional (CIP) and member of the New Zealand Insurance Law Association.
