Danie has played a prominent role in Crawford's response to the 2010/2011 Canterbury earthquakes, providing technical expertise and guidance to others, while at the same time continuing to service a personal portfolio of large and complex losses for leading insurers. He is an Associate member of the Australasian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters (ACLA), a Senior Associate of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance, ANZIIF (Snr Assoc), a Certified Insurance Professional (CIP) and member of the New Zealand Insurance Law Association.
