Peter is a Chartered Loss Adjuster with 24 years' experience in Loss Adjusting in both New Zealand and Australia, following underwriting roles in the insurance industry. He specialises in Catastrophe Response, Commercial Property, Contract Works, Major Loss, and Liability claims. He advises on issues arising from losses involving Product Recall, Public and Products Liability, Construction Liabilities, Professional Indemnity, and Major Property Damage, as well as providing litigation support for these claims. Peter has adjusted claims in New Zealand, Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, American Samoa, Australia and England. Peter also has significant experience in catastrophe response management, having held team leadership and management roles for events in New Zealand and across the Pacific Islands. In adjusting large and complex claims, Peter identifies the key issues and hurdles that may arise and then strategises and implements an appropriate plan to handle the claim. John has over 30 years experience in Audit, Senior Accounting, Insolvency, Litigation Support, and Business Interruption Loss Adjusting in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. He initially trained as an auditor with Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC) in Auckland and London in the Audit division. John has a broad commercial background, mainly in very senior accounting roles. John specialises in Financial Lines, Liability, and Litigation, Support losses providing advice on business interruption, stock reconciliation, contingency and fidelity guarantee issues.
Janene is a Forensic Accountant and Financial Loss Specialist with more than 15 years experience in Loss Adjusting. She specialises in Financial Lines, Liability, Dairy and Food Processing losses. She provides advice on issues such as Business Interruption, Loss of Profits, Fidelity, Stock Reconciliation, Product Recall and Contamination, including Litigation Support. Janene has also adjusted major earthquake claims and led a Crawford team of Financial Loss specialists in adjusting financial losses arising from the Canterbury Earthquakes 2010-2012. Janene has significant experience in adjusting losses across a wide range of processing and manufacturing industries including dairy, meat, seafood, horticulture, wine and beverages, and chemical processing. Janene's Loss Adjusting experience has seen her managing claims throughout New Zealand and the South Pacific region.
David is a Chartered Loss Adjuster and a Crawford & Company New Zealand Board Member. He is an Associate member of the Australasian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters (ACLA), a Senior Associate of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance, ANZIIF (Snr Assoc), a Certified Insurance Professional (CIP) and member of the New Zealand Insurance Law Association. He commenced his career as a Loss Adjuster with Crawford & Company in 1990 after completing the first stage NZCE (Civil Engineering). During his career has adjusted numerous complex multi-million dollar losses.
